Simon is a strategic organisation development and design consultant who works internationally supporting clients in transforming their organisations and developing learning cultures. Common areas of focus for his work include strategy engagement, organization design, leadership, executive team development and culture change.
He is based in the UK and Germany, and works extensively across Central Europe, in English and German (and enthusiastic Polish…).
Simon has led consulting projects for a wide range of public, private and third sector clients. These have included organisations such as Barclays, Siemens, Bayer, Shell, British Council, VW, Telefónica,, Mann+Hummel, Eakin Healthcare, UK Government, Scottish Government, the NHS, and Novartis, amongst others.
He is particularly interested in the role organizational language, metaphor, story and narrative play in shaping, perpetuating, or changing cultures and organizational systems. He works with individuals and senior functional and leadership teams to help them explore these patterns and their implications for their success.
He is a CIPD qualified L&D practitioner, holds the Ashridge Masters in Organizational Change, and has a first degree in English and German Literature from The Queen’s College, Oxford. He is accredited to administer the FIRO-B and SDI psychometric instruments.
He lives with his wife and two children between Görlitz, Eastern Germany and Oxford. When not with clients, you might find him playing trumpet in a street band…
